Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP)

An Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) is needed in Leominster, MA.

Titan Placement Group invites you to explore an Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner opportunity in Leominster, Massachusetts. Known for its scenic beauty and community-focused environment, Leominster offers a blend of small-town charm and easy access to the Greater Boston area. This role is with a mission-driven FQHC that has been providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare to over 30 communities across North Central Massachusetts for more than two decades.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Salary Range:$90 an hour+
  • $3,000 Sign-On Bonus
  • Schedule: 32–40 hours per week, including evenings and every other weekend
  • Health Insurance: Employer pays 70% (approx. $80 per pay period)
  • Dental and Vision Insurance Available
  • Retirement: 401(k) with up 4% employer match
  • Paid Time Off: 15 vacation days, 5 personal days, 5 sick days
  • Health Time: Earn 4 hours quarterly for not using sick time (no cap)
  • CME: Time off approved plus $3,500 annual allowance
  • Holidays: 10 paid holidays
  • Student Loan Repayment: Eligible for $50,000–$100,000 (NHSC)

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule: Includes evenings and every other weekend
  • Setting: Onsite, walk-in urgent care clinic
  • Population: Patients of all ages presenting with urgent needs
  • Care Scope: Examinations, diagnosis, injury care, urgent interventions, referrals
  • Clinical Skills: Suture, abscess drainage, splinting, ECG and X-ray interpretation
  • Documentation: Timely completion of all charting and paperwork
  • EMR System: (Please specify if available)
  • Team: Collaborate with physicians, NPs, and clinical support staff
  • Additional Duties: Participate in QA, staff training, and interdisciplinary planning

Requirements:

  • Active Massachusetts NP license required
  • Certified Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)
  • Minimum of 2 years of NP experience required
  • Urgent care or emergency experience strongly preferred
  • BLS/CPR certification required
  • Strong communication and clinical decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working independently with access to physician consultation
  • Must be mission-driven and adaptable in a fast-paced environment
  • ACLS Certification
