About the Role:
We are a growing tax, payroll, and accounting firm looking for an experienced Accountant and Tax Preparer to join our team. If you have a passion for helping businesses grow, a keen eye for tax strategy, and a desire to work in a collaborative and supportive environment, we encourage you to apply!

What You'll Do:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- File and prepare various tax returns, including individual, corporate, partnership, and trust tax returns.
- Conduct tax research and provide clients with expert advice on tax planning strategies and compliance matters.
- Assist clients with IRS audit letters and communications.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure their financial needs are met.
- Manage client accounts, ensuring accurate and timely billing and collections.
- Stay updated on accounting and tax laws, implementing best practices to benefit clients.
- Collaborate with the team to refine and develop accounting and tax policies.
- Train, mentor, and manage junior staff members.

What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA or EA certification preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, specializing in tax preparation and accounting services.
- Strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred).
- Experience with Lacerte tax software is a plus.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Confidence in working directly with clients and team members.
